The Cost of Doing Nothing

Energy prices are certain to rise as solar incentives continue to diminish. 2020 is the last year that the tax credit will be at 26%. In 2021 it drops to 22% before disappearing entirely for residential solar by 2022. Every day you wait to go solar is another day the utilities rejoice. Don't miss out!

Terms & Conditions:

Unless otherwise extended by an act of Congress, photovoltaic (PV) systems installed in 2021 will only be eligible for a 22% tax credit, a reduction of 4% from 2020. Under this promotion, Sun Valley Solar Solutions (SVSS) will cover 4% of the purchase price for any PV customers who signs a contract with SVSS on or before December 31st, 2020, and who’s system is not completely installed by the end of 2020. Sun Valley Solar Solutions will issue a check in the amount of 4% of the PV system’s total purchase price.  SVSS will issue 4% refund/rebate checks by end-of-year (EOY) 2021, so long as no change to the federal solar tax credit (ITC) is enacted at that time. If Congress changes the ITC incentive in 2021 to an amount greater than 22%, but less than 26%, then Sun Valley Solar Solutions' obligation will be the actual difference between 26% and the new amount. The 4% ITC credit will only be applicable to components of the PV array and/or battery installed by SVSS.  Additional work, not specifically designated as a direct part of the solar array including, but not limited to, roofing repair or replacement, will not be eligible for this offer. Customers are responsible for working with their own tax advisor to claim the 22% tax credit. The full 22% can be taken in the tax year for which the PV system was installed and commissioned or spread out over five years. This offer is only available to customers who purchase or finance their new solar energy system. Leased systems and system additions do not qualify.
